Quite simple Chord progression, using the I - IV - V degrees of a scale used a lot in popular music like Folk, Country, Rock, Blues, Pop. The strumming pattern is a typical folk rythm. Like the guy in the video you can use a Capo to rise up the pitch of the song. Put it in the fret you get more confortable to sing.
